Now make sure your Wan connect to modem and Lan to switch or direct pc.
You can press 7 to ping example google.com or yahoo.com if you get reply mean it working.
You going to need to connect to web interface. Go to pc that connect to the switch or Lan connect to direct to pc. May need to release new ip or restart pc.
Open up webroswer and type https://192.168.1.1

This wizard will guide you through the initial configuration of pfSense.
Host name: Name it Pfsense
Primary DnS server: Blank
Secondary DNS Server: Blank
Select your time zone and click
On this screen we will configure the Wide Area Network information
Configure WAN interface: I set my to DHCP. Depends on your ISP. If ppoe than select it and enter your username and password.
Set Admin password for pfSense
Click reload pfsense new changes (Note this will take awhile)
If you see Congratulations pfSense is now configured: Test the internet if not
working you may need to restart pfsense and modem itself to sync.
